Château Durfort-Vivens 2011 is a Margaux Grand Cru Classé wine made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (65%), Merlot (30%), Cabernet Franc (3%), and Petit Verdot (2%). The wine has a deep garnet color with aromas of ripe black fruit, cassis, and spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and concentrated, with velvety tannins and a long, lingering finish. It is recommended to decant this wine for at least two hours before serving at a temperature of 60-65 degrees Fahrenheit. Pairs well with grilled red meats, lamb, and mature cheeses.
