Domaine Hatzimichalis Merlot is a full-bodied red wine from the Peloponnese region of Greece. It is made from 100% Merlot grapes and aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. The wine has a deep ruby color with aromas of ripe red fruit, spice, and oak. On the palate, it is rich and velvety with flavors of cherry, plum, and chocolate. It has a long, lingering finish with soft tannins. Domaine Hatzimichalis Merlot is best served at room temperature with grilled meats, pasta dishes, or cheese.
