CHÂTEAU LASSÈGUE SAINTÉMILION GRAND CRU is a prestigious red wine from the Saint-Émilion appellation in Bordeaux, France. It is produced by Château Lassègue, a historic estate that has been producing wine for over four centuries.

The wine is made from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The grapes are grown on the estate’s 25 hectares of vineyards, which are located on the limestone plateau of Saint-Émilion. The vines are planted at a density of 6,500 vines per hectare, and the average age of the vines is 35 years.

The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, of which 50% are new. During this time, the wine develops its complex flavors and aromas. The wine is then bottled and aged for an additional 12 months before being released for sale.

Tasting Notes:

The palate is full-bodied and velvety, with flavors of black cherry, plum, and chocolate. The tannins are firm but well-integrated, and the finish is long and lingering.
